Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using 800discjockey.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Our Service
800 Disc Jockey (1-800-DISC JOCKEY, LLC) is a DJ matching and referral service. We connect clients seeking DJ entertainment with professional DJs in our network. We are not the employer of any DJ in our network; DJs operate as independent professionals.
Quote Requests
- Submitting a quote request is free and carries no obligation.
- Quotes are personalized estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing is confirmed between you and the DJ.
- We aim to deliver quotes within 1 hour during business hours but do not guarantee response times.
Booking & Deposits
- A signed contract and 25% deposit are required to secure your date.
- Balance is due 14 days before the event.
- Contracts are between you and the DJ or DJ company performing at your event. 800 Disc Jockey facilitates the connection.
Cancellation Policy
- 60+ days before event: Full refund of deposit.
- 30-59 days: 50% of deposit refunded.
- Under 30 days: Deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future date within 12 months.
- The DJ or DJ company's own cancellation policy may also apply and will be stated in your contract.
Performance Guarantee
We guarantee a minimum performance as specified in your contract. If the assigned DJ is unable to perform due to an emergency, we will make every effort to provide a qualified replacement. If no replacement is available, you receive a full refund.
DJ Network Members
DJs who join our network agree to maintain professional standards including liability insurance, reliable equipment, punctuality, and adherence to client agreements. 800 Disc Jockey reserves the right to remove any DJ from our network for violations of these standards.
Limitation of Liability
800 Disc Jockey acts as a referral service. While we vet DJs for quality and professionalism, we are not liable for the performance, actions, or omissions of independent DJs in our network. Our liability is limited to the referral fee, if any, associated with the booking.
Intellectual Property
All content on 800discjockey.com, including text, design, logos, and code, is owned by 1-800-DISC JOCKEY, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Onondaga County, New York.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
